We are inviting the local community to attend six weekly 2 hour gatherings. The sessions will be organized as follows: check-in, short training on an RP-related skill, circles, reflection, snack/fellowship. The participants will apply their learning in a hands-on application/circle time and then all the groups will gather for a time of socialization/reflection over a snack that the groups will take turns preparing. We will be blogging each week - sharing some highlights, questions, ideas and thoughts of our time together.
The idea for for this blog is for it to be a forum for those who are interested to explore the process of introducing Restorative Practices in an urban setting - to examine how to best introduce the skills and encourage the practice in the community and lives of those involved.
